Is There Such Thing as a Soulmate?

Afternoon gents, it’s Max from the Young Gentleman’s Guide here! In today’s article, we’re going to be talking about a question that’s been floating around romantic circles seemingly since the beginning: is there such thing as a soulmate? One person that you’re meant to be with forever? This idea has certainly become quite pervasive thanks to old fairy tales, the most timeless love stories, and popular media today largely reinforcing the ideas of those stories. While it can certainly be a difficult question to answer, especially considering just the sheer number of people in this world, I’m hoping I can provide a clear answer or explanation. So without any further delay, let’s get started!

5 Coffee Companies that Deserve your Support

Afternoon gents, it’s Max from the Young Gentleman’s Guide here! So, anyone who knows me knows that I love coffee, and that I’m always looking to try beans and roasts from various companies. It’s also no surprise that coffee is one of the most popular beverages all over the world, and as a result, there are many coffee shops and coffee companies in the United States alone that don’t get nearly as much attention as the big chains like Starbuck’s, yet make arguably a much better product. So today, I’m going to list five (5) of those companies that absolutely deserve more support and attention.

6 Ways to Stay Disciplined

Afternoon gents, it’s Max from the Young Gentleman’s Guide here! To start off, I wanted to apologize for practically disappearing off the Earth without any warning. A lot of things in my personal and professional life have come up since I last put up an article, not to mention the fever dream of a year 2020 was. As a result, it’s made me so incredibly busy, so I haven’t been able to find enough time to research, write, and post for a long time. However, now that I’ve found that time again, and I will be back to putting up just one article a week. With all this good news comes some bad news, though. Since our admin Mary has also been very busy with some other things happening in her life, she will unfortunately not be writing for us anymore, which means that the Young Lady’s Journal segment of the blog will be discontinuing. If we can find another admin for the blog who’s interested in writing that segment, we’ll bring it back, but for now, it’s going away. Now, with all the updates out of the way, let’s move onto the rest of the article!

More Lessons From my Grandfather

Afternoon gents, it’s Max from the Young Gentleman’s Guide here! The inspiration for today’s article is actually twofold. The first is that it’s been almost a year since my grandfather passed away. Those of you who know me personally may already know this, but I never really made that big of a deal out of it since I was simply at a loss for words after it happened. Since the passage of time after it happened, however, I feel like it would be a good time to put out yet another tribute to a man who has inspired not only myself, but virtually everybody he came across. The second is this article that my sister wrote as a tribute to my grandfather shortly after he passed (the link is no longer there since the article has since been deleted). If you want to get a better sense of what I’m going to say in this article, I would highly recommend reading hers first. So without any further delay, let’s see what my grandfather can teach many of you young gents!
